Two Lebanese nationals, namely Dina Jihad Khali and Chamseddine Waell Mohmmed have been arrested at the Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa in possession of $890,000 on their way out of the country. The amount is equivalent to N320.4 million in Nigerian currency.
The 2 foreigners who were arrested by officers of the Nigerian Customs Service have been handed over to the Port Harcourt Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for investigation and prosecution.
No further details have been provided by the authorities but with the ban on international flights it is not clear the kind of approval the 2 suspects have to fly out of the country from Port Harcourt.

The Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika had said even with the resumption of domestic flight operations only Lagos and Abuja airports were approved to handle special international flights approved by his Ministry.
