President Muhammadu Buhari is back to Abuja, the nation’s capital after participating in the Peace and Development Forum organised by Chairman of the African Union (AU) and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in the city of Aswan.
With the Yuletide in sight, the next major foreign trip of the President will be in February 2020 where he will be attending the 33rd Summit of the African Union Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from the 9th to 10th.
At the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Assembly, South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa will take over as the Chairman of the African Union from Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt. The African leaders are also expected to pick a successor to Ramaphosa ahead of their 2021 Summit.
