Last seen in public on Friday, March 20, the Presidency has released the picture of President Muhammadu Buhari after days of controversy surrounding his Coronavirus status.
This was as the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive to Coronavirus and has since been quarantined.
The President has not been seen in public after he received the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and new Deputy Chairman (South), Ajimobi at the Presidential Villa.
The photo of the President posted on the Twitter handle of his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad shows him in an office with the caption “President @MBuhari; still at work!”.

After days of what appears to be secrecy surrounding the President’s Coronavirus status, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed finally confirmed that the President tested for Coronavirus and the result was negative.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had earlier in the week posted pictures of himself working from home in self-isolation after testing negative to Coronavirus.
