Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the inconclusive Kogi-West Senatorial District election, Senator Dino Melaye seen in the photos may have approached the Federal High Court Abuja over the supplementary election scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 30.
Details are unknown but he declares in one of his tweet @dino_melaye that “No rest till justice is done.. No retreat..No surrender”.
Senator Melaye had earlier in the day visited the Maitama headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) where he submitted a fresh petition stating conditions for the supplementary polls to hold. He insists in his petition that the Commission omitted several polling units that should be included in the supplementary polls.
INEC had 24 hours ago released details of the polling units as shown in the photos where supplementary polls will hold in 53?polling units on Saturday across seven local government areas in Kogi-West Senatorial District
MediaDimensions also gathered that supplementary election will also hold in 22 polling units across Ajaokuta Federal Constituency where the court ordered for the election.
