National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Tinubu has visited Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
In a tweet by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs in the Office of the Vice President, Anjuri Ngelale said “True Friendships & Partnerships Are Never Dictated By The Expediency Of A Given Moment. They Are Built Firmly Inside To Impact What Is External. Never To Be Shaped & Defined By Outside Noise”.
It is not clear which “given moment” the presidential aide was referring to but the relationship between the two leaders is not in doubt. Osinbajo was the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State when Senator Tinubu was the Governor between 1999 and 2007.
It is also an open secret that Senator Bola who is reportedly not in the best of relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari’s closest allies and confidants commonly known as “the cabal” has a presidential ambition to take over the country’s presidency in 2023.
